Doctor bloopers

To get things started off I think that we should start on a lighter more humorous note. Doctors all have different personalities and are human, they can make mistakes sometimes. I think that after reading this and seeing some of these mistakes, it will help me to become better to not make these when I am in this field.

These are mistakes that Doctors have literally made on charts that they have done about patients!!

- The lab test indicated abnormal lover function
- On the second day the knee was better and on the third day it had completely disappeared
- Patient has left his white blood cells at another hospital
- The patient is a 79-year-old widow who no longer lives with her husband
- The patient left the hospital feeling much better except for her original complaints
- The patient's past medical history has been remarkably insignificant with only a 40 pound weight gain in the past three days
- The patient was to have a bowel resection. However, he took a job as stockbroker instead
- The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be depressed
- Discharge status: Alive but without permission
- Healthy-appearing, decrepit 69 year old male, mentally alert but forgetful

These are all mistakes/bloopers that I found to be actually quite fun to read
